[Hiring] Talent Lead @Flai

Role Description

We’re hiring a Talent Lead to build Flai’s hiring function from the ground up. You will own recruiting across key business and go-to-market roles, help define how we evaluate talent, and build the processes that let us scale without lowering the bar. This is not a coordinator role and not a traditional big-company recruiting job. We want someone who can source, close, and operate at a high level while also building the systems behind great hiring. You’ll work directly with the founders and play a central role in shaping who joins Flai and how we grow.

What You’ll Do

• Own recruiting end-to-end
  • Run searches from kickoff to close across key business and go-to-market roles, including sourcing, screening, process management, and closing.
• Partner with founders and hiring managers
  • Help define role profiles, calibrate the hiring bar, challenge assumptions, and keep searches focused on what actually matters.
• Build the hiring machine
  • Create the playbooks, workflows, scorecards, and operating rhythm that make hiring repeatable, efficient, and high quality.
• Raise the talent bar
  • Develop strong judgment on what great looks like, deliver an excellent candidate experience, and help shape how Flai attracts and wins exceptional people.
• Support early people building
  • Help ensure strong handoffs from signed offer to onboarding, and support foundational people processes as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Proven Recruiting Execution
  • Experience owning hiring end-to-end and closing strong candidates in fast-moving environments.

  • You thrive in ambiguity, move quickly, and are energized by building from scratch.

  • Clear, persuasive, and credible with both candidates and hiring managers. Strong written communication and follow-through.

  • You can create structure where little exists and improve systems while still executing day to day.

Nice to Have

• Experience hiring for early-stage startups
• Experience hiring for GTM roles such as AEs, BDRs, customer success, and operations
• Experience recruiting in environments with high talent density and strong performance bars
• Comfort supporting light people ops or onboarding processes
