Role Description

We’re now looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, Deeptech & Scientific Hiring to support one of our client partners operating at the cutting edge of quantum-enabled medical imaging. This is not a standard tech recruiting assignment. This role is for someone who knows how to go beyond the obvious channels, build credibility with highly specialised stakeholders, and run thoughtful, high-quality searches in talent markets where the best candidates are often not active on LinkedIn.

You’ll be embedded with a client working across highly niche scientific and engineering domains, including areas such as:

  • Quantum technology
  • MRI
  • Hyperpolarization
  • Nanotechnology-adjacent research
  • Advanced imaging applications

The work is deeply consultative, quality-driven, and requires a recruiter who is comfortable navigating long search cycles and hard-to-reach talent pools. The client itself operates in metabolic MRI and quantum-enabled imaging, with hiring needs visible across areas such as:

  • Hyperpolarization/NMR
  • Quantum Tech
  • Research partnerships
  • Validation
  • Field applications
  • Technical project leadership

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partnering closely with the client’s hiring managers and leadership team to define, shape, and run searches in highly specialised scientific and technical domains.
  • Owning full-cycle hiring from intake through calibration, sourcing strategy, assessment design, process management, offer support, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Building tailored search strategies for niche talent pools where traditional LinkedIn-heavy recruiting is not enough.
  • Using alternative sourcing methods to identify and engage talent across academic, research, and specialist technical communities — including publications, conference ecosystems, research networks, referrals, specialist communities, and other non-traditional channels.
  • Acting as a consultative partner to hiring teams by helping them refine briefs, align on talent realities, and make smart decisions in complex and low-volume markets.
  • Running searches where precision matters more than speed, and where success depends on quality of outreach, strong market mapping, and consistent stakeholder management over longer hiring cycles.
  • Creating structure where needed — interview process design, scorecards, calibration, reporting, and hiring recommendations — so the client can make strong decisions in a niche and competitive market.
  • Representing Tribe.xyz with professionalism, ownership, and sound judgement at every stage of the partnership.

Qualifications

  • A senior full-cycle recruiter with strong experience owning complex searches end to end.
  • Experience hiring for deeptech, scientific, research-led, or highly specialised technical roles where candidate pools are narrow and harder to access through standard channels.
  • A strong track record of using alternative sourcing methods beyond LinkedIn Recruiter to identify niche talent.
  • Confidence engaging candidates from scientific and specialist technical backgrounds, such as physicists, chemists, research engineers, advanced hardware/software profiles, or other frontier technology talent.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate as a trusted advisor, not just a delivery partner.
  • A consultative, structured way of working — someone who can deal with ambiguity, create clarity, and keep momentum in longer, more meticulous hiring processes.
  • Excellent communication, sound judgement, and a high bar for candidate experience.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote, embedded environment while staying closely aligned with both Tribe and the client team.
