[Hiring] Senior Recruiter - Executive @Mercury

Role Description

This role involves recruiting exceptional Executive talent to help shape Mercury’s next stage of growth.

• Develop a deep understanding of Mercury’s values, brand, products, and business model
• Work closely with Mercury’s founders and executive-level hiring managers to design interview panels and source strong candidates
• Shape success on a newly formed recruiting team and maintain a high culture and hiring bar
• Position yourself as a strategic partner to leadership teams by staying abreast of fintech and banking industry trends
• Advocate for building inclusive, diverse teams and guide hiring teams towards unbiased hiring decisions
• Identify and engage top talent through both passive and active channels
• Lead recruiting efforts as Mercury expands its business and products
• Work with data to derive actionable insights and improve recruiting processes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle Executive recruiting experience; 7+ years of experience overall in a talent, people, or HR-equivalent function
• Deep experience recruiting for Director to C-Suite Executive talent in a high-growth environment
• Experience influencing and partnering with founders and Executive-level stakeholders
• Strong sourcing, research, and networking skills
• Experience partnering with Board members and investor talent agencies
• Experience partnering with broader People functions, such as HRBP and Compensation
• Enjoy building diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams
• Enjoy creative problem solving and optimizing workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of urgency and ownership for work
• Experience with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Covey, Ashby, Metaview, or similar

• Target new hire base salary ranges for this role:
• US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $163,000 - $203,800
• US employees outside of New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $146,700 - $183,400
