Role Description

LastPass is looking for a Senior Learning & Development Specialist. We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in facilitation and instructional design to create and deliver impactful learning experiences.

The Learning & Development (L&D) team is a vital part of the People Team that drives growth, innovation, and success.

  • Drive engagement, increase retention, and align learning with business goals

Who will you work with?

As an independent contributor, you will collaborate closely with HR teams, business leaders, and subject matter experts to drive learning initiatives.

  • Manage and facilitate new hire onboarding programs
  • Ensure a smooth transition for all employees into the organization

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

  • Facilitation & Delivery:
    • Deliver engaging in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions for employees at various levels
    • Facilitate interactive learning experiences that drive engagement, skill development, and behavior change
    • Adapt facilitation techniques to different learning styles, business needs, and leadership levels
    • Provide coaching and guidance to employees and leaders to support learning application
  • New Hire Onboarding Management & Facilitation:
    • Manage, enhance, and facilitate the new hire onboarding program
    • Partner with HR and business leaders to design and improve onboarding content
    • Monitor the effectiveness of onboarding, collect feedback, and continuously refine processes
  • Instructional Design & Content Development:
    • Design and develop interactive learning materials, including instructor-led training and e-learning modules
    • Leverage digital tools, multimedia, and technology to enhance learning experiences
    • Continuously assess and improve learning content based on participant feedback and business needs
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement:
    • Collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and subject matter experts to assess learning needs
    • Stay current on emerging learning trends, HR developments, and instructional design innovations

Qualifications

  • Background in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in facilitation, instructional design, and corporate learning
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Experience managing and facilitating new hire onboarding programs
  • Proficiency in LMS platforms, e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia), and virtual facilitation tools (e.g., MS Teams)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple learning initiatives simultaneously
  • Foundational HR knowledge, including an understanding of talent development and performance management
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using learner feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve learning programs
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills

Requirements

  • Certification in instructional design, facilitation, or learning technologies (e.g., ATD, CPTD, Kirkpatrick, DISC, Insights, etc.) - it's great, but not required
  • Knowledge of or previous experience working with Litmos LMS
