Role Description

The People & Culture Partner (HRBP) requires a balance of strategic insight and operational execution to drive HR initiatives that align with business goals and foster a positive workplace culture.

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their objectives and provide HR solutions that drive performance and growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Resolve employee relations issues effectively and ensure a fair and consistent approach to conflict resolution.
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives, process improvements, and cultural transformation.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify change needs and develop strategies to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Communicate change initiatives effectively to all stakeholders and address concerns to ensure buy-in and adoption.
  • Manage necessary HR operational tasks, including but not limited to performance management, on/off boarding, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor law and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports to support decision-making.
  • Any other jobs as required by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Human Resources is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' HR related working experience, with a focus on employee relations.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing organizational change and driving culture transformation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • Proven experience in areas such as performance management, talent management, and employee engagement.
  • Confidence in working with data and HR systems (Workday is a plus).
  • Fast learner, result-oriented, team player; ability to work under pressure.
  • Asian language capability is an advantage.
  • Competence in using a range of IT applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Candidates must be permanently residing in Malaysia and have the ability to work from home.
