Role Description
This role involves leveraging your deep expertise in designing, planning, and delivering world-class HR practices and processes to scale our People and Talent teams at Prolific. This 12-month interim role will work with the people team and wider business leaders to drive Prolific-specific HR programs & initiatives that attract, engage, motivate, and retain great People.
- Partner with the People and Talent team to project manage programs specific to Prolific’s business needs, including workforce planning and organizational health.
- Partner with People Leadership to review and evolve the execution and operation of core HR practices and processes (e.g., compensation planning, performance management).
- Measure and analyze people and talent data to develop initiatives that add value to the business and contribute to wider business success.
- Manage large-scale change initiatives, including organizational design, team restructures, and leadership transitions, ensuring minimal disruption and strong communication across teams.
- Act as a strategic partner to different business units, supporting them with tailored people strategies and helping teams achieve their goals while maintaining a cohesive, company-wide approach to people management.
- Manage complex and high-impact employee relations issues, offering guidance on disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance improvement plans.
- Lead the development and implementation of performance management programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and a feedback-rich culture.
- Act as a mentor and coach to leadership, supporting leadership development initiatives, and driving succession planning and performance.
- Bring Prolific’s people strategy to life through actionable HR policies and procedures, ensuring legal requirements are met and fair and equitable policies are in place.
- Ensure compliance with UK, US, and EU employment laws, identifying potential risks and advising on proactive solutions to mitigate these risks.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in designing, managing, and executing complex projects in various People fields (organizational design, workforce planning, talent metrics).
- Experience leading strategic HR initiatives, including change management and leadership development programs.
- Experience across multiple sizes of business, including start/scale-up environments.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to influence and drive decision-making.
- Resilience and adaptability in leading projects through periods of growth, change, or uncertainty.
- Strong change management skills, with the ability to lead cultural transformation and implement company changes while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing both strategic and operational responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
