Role Description
This role involves supporting HR operations in a dynamic environment focused on creating a positive employee experience.
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper handling of wages, deductions, and overtime.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment support, invoice reconciliation, and employee communications.
- Maintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce Now and physical personnel files.
- Support new-hire onboarding by assisting with paperwork, I-9 verification, and serving as a point of contact before start dates.
- Manage employee changes, ensuring proper documentation and approval routing.
- Oversee the HR SharePoint site, keeping content accurate and up to date.
- Monitor the HR inbox, responding to inquiries or directing them to the appropriate team member.
- Process and track payments to HR and benefits-related vendors.
- Assist with recruitment and employee engagement efforts, including job postings and background checks.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a BS/BA in related discipline.
- Generally requires at least 2 years of directly related experience.
- Multi-state payroll processing experience.
- Knowledge of employee benefits administration and related processing.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with Payroll Software, ADP preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to securely handle confidential information.
