Role Description
Highnote is looking for an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our HR team. This is an opportunity to immediately dive into all aspects of HR and make a direct impact as we continue to scale our company. You will partner closely with leadership and have exposure to all teams throughout the company. This is a great growth opportunity for someone wanting to learn the full spectrum of Human Resources in a small and growing company.
- Support the entire employee lifecycle including new hire onboarding, benefits orientation, offboarding checklists, and leave of absence administration
- Semi-monthly payroll entry for both US and Canada Payroll
- In-house guru for our current HRIS, Rippling
- Ownership of our internal “People Page” and Employee Handbook
- Creation and maintenance of various HR Data Reports and Policies
- Help monitor HR compliance across States where we have an employee presence
- Administration of annual trainings
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Bachelor of Arts
- Experience with Rippling
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexible, startup mindset, and ability to operate within a very dynamic, fast-paced work environment
- Proactive and action oriented: no task is too small or insignificant for you
- Able to juggle multiple and shifting priorities and still deliver results
- Must be resourceful by nature and have excellent problem-solving skills
- Eager to learn and stay up to date with the ever changing world of HR
