Role Description

As a Founding Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of our software platform from the ground up.

Work closely with the founding team to develop a scalable and reliable software platform for the Private Aviation Industry
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our software architecture
Write high-quality, well-tested code that meets the needs of our customers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
Help build and manage a world-class engineering team as we grow

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
Extensive experience in Full-Stack development, with a focus on Python, React, and Postgres databases
Experience building and scaling software platforms
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Passion for the Aviation Industry and a desire to make a meaningful impact

Requirements

Experience building RESTful APIs using Python Framework such as Django, Flask
Knowledge of front-end tools and libraries such as React, Next.Js
Experience with databases such as Postgres and MySql
Familiarity with containerization technologies and Cloud Infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience in the Aviation Industry is a plus
