Role Description

Wave is seeking an HR Systems Analyst to help us implement our new HRIS and scale our people technology infrastructure. We’re looking for someone who is excited about solving complex technical challenges in a high-growth fintech environment.

The HR Systems Analyst will report to the HR Systems lead within the HR Technology team. In this role, you'll act as a bridge between our People team's needs and our technical capabilities, configuring systems to handle the complexity of multi-country operations, different regulatory environments, and varying local requirements.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting our HRIS migration
    • Playing a critical part in the new system configuration and data migration.
    • Building an in-depth knowledge of existing processes and data sources.
    • Ensuring continuity while advising on minimizing interruptions to ongoing operations.
    • Providing a seamless user transition.
  • Providing core HR Systems support
    • Implementing new systems and workflows or adapting existing ones.
    • Helping roll out and scale an internal service desk.
    • Tracking adherence to and identifying deviation from established processes and policies.
    • Analyzing HR Systems workflows and setups to recommend improvements.
    • Supporting anticipated system migrations and integrations in various HR systems.
    • Overseeing system upgrades, patches, and testing.
    • Training HR team members and end-users on HRIS functionalities and updates.
    • Acting as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting system issues.
  • Driving our HR Data Management and Reporting Quality projects
    • Managing stakeholder relationships across HR, Talent, and Payroll teams.
    • Conducting audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
    • Expanding data quality projects into strategic dashboards or reporting.
    • Managing data privacy and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Upholding and strengthening our compliance and risk management approaches
    • Monitoring and enforcing compliance with HR data regulations.
    • Maintaining documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience administering HRIS platforms in an organization with +5,000 employees.
  • Experience managing HR systems across a variety of modules, including Talent Management, HCM, Compensation, and L&D.
  • Experience and understanding of HR processes, including payroll, benefits, performance management, talent operations and acquisition, learning & development.
  • Experience with end-to-end HRIS implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS configuration, workflows, and reporting tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of data management, analytics, and reporting.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence systems like PowerBI or Looker.
  • Understanding of system integrations using APIs, middleware, or other tools.
  • Effective written and verbal communication to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
