Role Description
We're seeking a part-time HR Manager to support our remote team of accounting professionals. This role will oversee HR functions for our growing company while upholding our commitment to creating a supportive environment for women in the workforce.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Oversee BambooHR system administration and maintenance
- Support management with performance review processes and documentation
- Ensure compliance with employment laws across multiple states
- Maintain employee handbook and policy documentation
- Coordinate 401(k) administration and eligibility tracking
- Assist with PTO tracking and administration
- Support recruitment efforts for new positions
- Serve as a resource for employee questions regarding benefits and policies
- Facilitate resolution of workplace concerns or conflicts
- Implement and improve HR procedures aligned with company values
Qualifications
- 3+ years HR experience, preferably in a remote work environment
- Experience with BambooHR or similar HRIS platforms
- Knowledge of employment laws in multiple states
- Strong documentation and process development skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Experience with employee relations in a professional services setting
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) preferred
