Role Description

As a Remote HR / Onboarding Assistant at Reliable Security Staffing Management, you’ll be at the heart of our recruitment and onboarding efforts, helping us bring on the best security personnel in the industry. Your role will involve guiding new hires through a seamless virtual onboarding experience while managing important documentation and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Onboarding Coordination:
  • Lead the virtual onboarding process for new security hires, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
  • Verify necessary documentation (e.g., background checks, licenses, certifications) and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate with new hires through phone, email, and video calls to provide a clear, efficient, and welcoming onboarding experience.
• Recruitment Support:
  • Review resumes, assist in screening candidates, and schedule virtual interviews for prospective security staff.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries and provide information about the company and security roles.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate records for new hires in our HR software system.
  • Track and ensure security staff training, certifications, and licensing are up to date.
• Administrative Support:
  • Answer inquiries from security staff regarding their onboarding status and ensure all new hires are set up for success.
  • Assist in the preparation of onboarding materials and internal documentation.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Offer suggestions for improving the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth experience for both candidates and internal teams.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices and compliance requirements related to the security industry.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative roles. Experience in the security industry is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with an ability to clearly explain policies and procedures.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with HR software or applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a bonus.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
