[Hiring] Driver Recruiter @Day & Ross

Role Description

Communicates with company driver applicants through all stages of the onboarding process to recruit, select, and hire qualified individuals for employment with Day & Ross or any of its subsidiaries.

• Source and qualify candidates for various driving roles nationwide
• Reach out to candidates via emails, phone calls, and text messaging to engage drivers
• Clearly communicate job responsibilities, company culture, and become the conduit between quality driver candidates and operational needs
• Ask probing questions to either eliminate or move forward with candidate
• Summarize key benefits and value propositions
• Update our ATS (Tenstreet) to reflect current candidate information, including notes, interviews and all data received from 3rd party records (MVR, Background Information, etc.)
• Attend hiring events and work at offsite locations for special projects/events or start-ups
• Work closely and communicate with related departments
• Performs other duties as requested

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Computer literacy and Microsoft Office Products proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience with the Tenstreet Application Management System is preferred
• Working knowledge of the transportation industry, DOT Regulations and Federal Regulations pertaining to hiring practices
• Up to 25 percent travel may be required within North America
