[Hiring] Benefits Operations Specialist @Remote

Role Description

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Benefits Specialist, joining our Global Operations team. You will be reporting to one of our Benefits Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Global Operations regional managers to develop and oversee the following group benefit programs: group medical, dental, vision, life insurance, business travel accident, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other country-specific benefits.
• Coordinate benefit processing; review and approve billing.
• Create strong partnerships with our benefits broker and vendors and serve as a primary contact.
• Assist new employees with Benefits & Compensation.
• Research and respond to questions from employees and management regarding the interpretation of benefit plans.
• Assist with evaluating and designing new corporate benefit plans and programs.
• Be able to go from “scout to scale” and actually start things up.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in employee welfare benefits.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with team members and external contacts.
• Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates, clients, and vendors at all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to learn other programs as required.
• Writes and speaks fluent English.
• It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus.
