[Hiring] Tax Intern @Sensiba

Role Description

As a Tax Intern at Sensiba, you'll play an active role in the successful execution of a tax busy season. You'll work alongside experienced tax professionals on real client engagements, gaining exposure to specialty areas like:

• Individual and business tax compliance
• Real estate
• Manufacturing and distribution
• Venture capital
• High-net-worth client services

From preparing tax returns to researching tax issues and documenting client data, you'll build the technical foundation and professional relationships that set the stage for a career in tax.

This part-time internship runs January–April 2027, 15–25 hours per week, and is fully remote — offering the flexibility to balance coursework with real-world tax experience.

Qualifications

• Enrollment at an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a major or emphasis in Accounting.
• Expected completion of bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting between December 2026 and June 2028.
• Minimum accounting GPA of 3.0 preferred.
• CA CPA eligible.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• High level of motivation to learn and produce high-quality work.
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and a sophisticated client base.
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team to meet periodic and project-based client deadlines.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

• Assist in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Support the organization, review, and maintenance of tax documents and client information.
• Build hands-on proficiency with tax software and other industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with the tax team on compliance and planning projects.
• Conduct tax research and analysis on technical issues.
• Take on administrative responsibilities as needed.
