[Hiring] Strategic Finance Expert @Mercor

Role Description

• Build business cases and investment appraisals with NPV, IRR, and payback for projects and decisions.
• Produce capital allocation determinations ranking investments against hurdle rates with portfolio review.
• Build scenario and sensitivity analyses of the corporate plan across demand, pricing, and cost.
• Analyze pricing and discount economics supporting price setting and deal desk approvals with margin impact.
• Produce market sizing and competitive landscape analysis, cohort and unit economics, and cost baseline and savings analysis for a cost reduction program.

Qualifications

• Must-Have: 4+ years in strategic finance, corporate strategy, or corporate planning inside an operating company.
• Ownership of a capital or pricing decision that went to a leadership forum.
• Preferred: Management consulting or Big 4 strategy background now in an operator seat.
• Growth equity background now in-house.
• Deal desk or pricing strategy experience.
