[Hiring] Staff Accountant @Adtaxi

Role Description

The Staff Accountant analyzes revenue and expense accounts and prepares variance reports while working with the company’s overall operating plans. They are responsible for maintaining finance reporting on all areas of the business and assisting with weekly projections and annual budgets. Although this is a remote role, candidates must reside in CO, FL, IL, MA, MN, OH, OK, PA, or TX.

• Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models for decision support for revenue, expense, and strategic objectives
• Improve financial performance by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
• Support the weekly Flash and Annual budgeting processes
• Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Provide trends and forecasts
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
• Establish and maintain relationships with a variety of people across divisions
• Work with Oracle SmartView and Oracle Cloud EPM financial reporting
• Have a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models

Qualifications

• Strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills including building models
• Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced lookup functions (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), conditional logic (IF, IFS, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS), and dynamic cell linking
• Strong financial modeling experience
• Extensive understanding of financial processes, systems and controls and responsibility for documenting the processes
• Able to prioritize workload with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
• Two (2) years of directly related experience

Benefits

• The salary range is $70,000 - $90,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc.
