Role Description

Omnicare is a leading provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities nationwide, supporting skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other institutional care settings. Following the sale of Omnicare by CVS Health, this role will support Omnicare and its continued operations as an independent, standalone organization. Candidates should be aware that this role will not remain within CVS Health following the transaction. The individual hired into this role will be employed by Omnicare and will contribute to shaping the future of our organization during this exciting period of growth and transformation.

As the Tax Senior Manager, you will:

• Manage and review all corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Analyze financial data, conduct tax research, and identify tax-saving opportunities for the organization.
• Collaborate with finance teams, external auditors, and tax authorities to address tax-related matters and provide strategic tax planning advice to optimize the organization's tax position.
• Handle sales and use and personal property tax along with entity level state and federal taxes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience.
• 5+ years of corporate tax experience.
• Experience managing the filing of returns of corporate returns for both federal and state returns across a national program with multiple related entities.
• Experience managing a multi-state, national sales and use tax program.
• Experience managing personal property and real estate tax filings.
• Experience managing and reporting unclaimed funds.
• Experience researching and implementing various tax credits.

Requirements

• Chartered Tax Professional (CTP) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $75,400.00 - $165,954.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
