Role Description

If you enjoy speaking with clients, reviewing tax returns, and helping clients feel confident in their tax position—this role is for you. As a Tax Senior, you will lead client communication and perform final reviews of tax returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless client experience. This is a high-impact, client-facing role for someone who values precision, communication, and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Review & Compliance
  • Perform final reviews of tax returns (accuracy, completeness, compliance)
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Ensure all filings meet current U.S. tax regulations
• Client Relationships & Ongoing Planning
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients
  • Explain tax positions and filings clearly and confidently
  • Respond to client questions with professionalism and care
• Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with tax preparers to ensure quality and timeliness
  • Provide feedback and maintain high standards across deliverables
• Quality & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and decisions
  • Ensure all work aligns with firm processes and standards

Qualifications

• CPA, EA, or relevant certification (preferred)
• Experience in income tax processing is preferred
• 4+ years of U.S. tax preparation and review experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax laws and regulations
• Experience with tax software and accounting systems
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational ability
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, client-focused mindset
