[Hiring] Senior Credit Analyst @United Community Bank

Role Description

• Assist the Chief Credit Officer with various aspects of the Bank’s credit administration and lending functions.
• Independently underwrite and analyze new and existing commercial credit relationships, including the preparation of comprehensive credit presentations.
• Ability to analyze personal and corporate tax returns along with financial statements to compile a comprehensive analysis for lending decisions.
• Ability to identify key credit risks, trends, and weaknesses within the credit relationship.
• Assist in ongoing covenant and financial monitoring.
• Work closely with Commercial Loan Officers in gathering financials and documentation imperative in making a sound credit decision.
• Prepare and assemble various monthly, quarterly, and other credit-related reports for management as needed.
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the Bank’s lending policies, procedures, and underwriting standards and appropriately identify and document exceptions to policy.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in every task performed.
• Effectively manage multiple assignments, prioritize workload, and consistently meet established underwriting and reporting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degree (or equivalent commercial underwriting experience may be considered).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Credit Underwriting (required).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with commercial credit spreading/underwriting software preferred.
