[Hiring] Senior Analyst, EPM Planning & Consolidations @Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.

Role Description

This role is part of the EPM COE that acts as an extension of the broader Finance organization to transform Stanley Black and Decker’s global finance processes into leading practices. This includes:

• Strategy development
• Process change
• Technology investments to provide better business insights

Key responsibilities include:

• Become a trusted partner across all Corporate and Business Unit FP&A teams to ensure financial applications meet and exceed functional requirements.
• Provide functional support for all Oracle EPM Applications (Oracle Cloud Planning/PCM/EDM, HFM, FDM, Smart View) on various financial processes.
• Coordinate with Finance and Technical teams to ensure applications meet all business requirements.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase the effectiveness of the company’s planning and reporting.
• Support the HFM Application as we transition from On-Premise to EPM Cloud Financial Close & Consolidations (FCC).
• Collaborate with the Finance user community to identify and deliver new Enhancements to the EPM Applications.
• Partner with SBD Leadership and business unit FP&A Users to maintain, design, and deliver Planning functionality.
• Work with Controllership to manage key FDM and HFM business processes.
• Identify User Training Opportunities and Needs to improve EPM Application support offerings.

Qualifications

• Curiosity to understand how things work, leveraging application design knowledge to drive improved Financial outcomes.
• Demonstrates financial management expertise, with experience using modeling tools to report and project summarized results.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively to all levels across a matrixed organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics.
• 3+ years of experience in Finance or Analytics role.
• Experience with Oracle applications (i.e., Hyperion Planning, Essbase, HFM, etc.) preferred, or other similar financial planning/reporting software.
• Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills.
