[Hiring] Senior Accountant @Docusign

Role Description

Docusign is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our accounting organization in Brazil. In this role, you will help deliver an efficient and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close while supporting financial reporting, account integrity, audit readiness, and continuous process improvement. You will work cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Payroll, Tax, and other global teams. This is a highly collaborative role for an analytical and detail-oriented accountant who can manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a remote environment.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting.

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, deferred costs, and other assigned accounting areas
• Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and complete monthly and quarterly flux analyses
• Analyze balance-sheet and income-statement activity and explain meaningful fluctuations
• Support the preparation of financial reporting, account analyses, tie-outs, and supporting documentation
• Maintain accurate accounting records and meet reporting deadlines across global stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to streamline or automate accounting processes
• Support internal and external audits, quarterly reviews, SOX activities, and other internal-control requirements, as applicable
• Calculate indirect tax and prepare monthly tax returns
• Participate in special projects, technical accounting analyses, and other ad hoc initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience

Requirements

• Experience in a multinational company, SaaS organization, technology company or Big Four firm
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and audit support
• Experience with Oracle or another large ERP or accounting system
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large data sets
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work under deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across countries and functions
• Fluent English
