[Hiring] Revenue Operations Accounting Manager @Bestow

Role Description

Bestow is seeking a Revenue Operations Accounting Manager to join our growing Finance team. This role is the accounting seat at the deal desk, embedded in the commercial process before contracts are signed.

• Own the accounting seat in the deal desk, including reviewing MSAs, order forms, SOWs, and amendments before execution for revenue recognition implications.
• Identify and escalate ASC 606 issues in active deals.
• Advise Sales, Legal, and Strategic Finance on deal structure in real time.
• Build deal review workflows, approval thresholds for non-standard terms, deal checklists, and documentation standards.
• Own the handoff from executed contract to accounting and billing system setup.
• Partner with Sales Operations on CRM/CPQ and billing system accuracy.
• Manage the operational workflow for contract amendments, renewals, and upsells.
• Act as the primary accounting partner to Sales, Sales Operations, Strategic Finance, and Legal.
• Support the Controller and Revenue Accounting Manager with revenue recognition context on complex deals.
• Contribute to commercial governance policies and cross-functional training.

Qualifications

• CPA with 6+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a deal desk, contract review, or revenue operations accounting capacity at a SaaS company.
• Hands-on deal desk experience with the ability to articulate accounting positions clearly to non-accountants.
• Builder mindset with experience designing processes, including deal review playbooks and approval matrices.
• Working understanding of SaaS business metrics (ARR, NRR, bookings, renewals).
• Fluent in usage-based and hybrid billing models.
• Operationally minded senior contributor who understands gaps between Sales and Accounting.
• Commercial instincts regarding B2B SaaS enterprise deals.
• Solution-oriented and collaborative with a demonstrated history of using AI and automation in financial operations.
• Experience with CPQ/CRM tools and billing systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite) strongly preferred.
• Public accounting background (Big 4 or mid-tier) and SaaS industry experience required.
