Role Description

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Remote Senior Tax Preparer & Client Operations Specialist to work directly alongside the firm's CPA founder. As the primary tax preparer on the team, this professional will:

• Prepare review-ready individual and business tax returns using Drake Tax.
• Review organizers and stage workpaper packages.
• Manage client operations inside TaxDome, including firm inboxes and client communications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on technical SEO experience (preferably within an agency environment).
• Deep proficiency with technical crawling and analytical tools, including Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Demonstrated experience leading or rescuing site migrations.
• Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, structured data (Schema.org), canonicalization, HTTP status codes, and WordPress CMS administration.
• Hands-on experience optimizing multi-location brands and local landing page architecture.
• Exceptional written English communication skills.
• Full availability for a full-time schedule with a minimum of 5 hours of daily overlap during US Eastern Time business hours (Monday – Friday, ET).
• High-performance computer setup, HD webcam, headset, and a reliable high-speed internet connection in a quiet workspace.

Requirements

• Enrolled Agent (EA) credential or active progress toward US CPA licensure.
• Experience preparing partnership (1065) and S-Corporation (1120-S) tax returns.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO) or basic monthly bookkeeping processes.
