[Hiring] Reinsurance Accounting @Skywings Advisors

Role Description

• Providing accounting and administrative services to a portfolio of reinsurance clients, including:
• Review of cashbooks, providing review comments where necessary.
• General ledger processing, including journal entry posting.
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts which will include accounting for insurance and reinsurance contracts, investments and investment income and expenses.
• Preparation of year-end GAAP financial statements and relevant footnotes, as well as supporting schedules.
• Preparation of regulatory filings within a variety of domiciles.
• Analysis of results in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist with annual audit process, as required.
• Electronic filing of documentation as required by the Company's information retention policy.
• Build and develop relationships with different teams internally to better identify and understand client needs.
• Demonstrate an ability to understand and meet client deadlines and requirements.
• Understand and maintain knowledge of the latest accounting standards such as GAAP and IFRS.

• CA Qualified / CA Inter
