Role Description

This is a remote position. Working approximately 10 to 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling, this remote part-time position supports the finance function of a care agency. The role involves managing transactional records, client income and expenses, and supplier distributions for an agency overseeing 130 payroll carers and 200 active clients.

The impact of the role focuses on delivering meticulous ledger maintenance and account reconciliations within QuickBooks Online. Acting as a key administrative anchor, the successful incumbent will oversee:

• Daily transaction logging
• Process supplier invoices for payment approval
• Verify carer timesheets
• Compile monthly financial reports

The environment requires a reliable, organised professional based in South Africa who possesses previous UK bookkeeping experience and can operate independently to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous UK bookkeeping experience
• Proven, strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and maintain structured records
• South Africa-based with availability to work flexible part-time hours (10–20 hours per week) including some UK business-hour availability
