[Hiring] Payment Analyst @Eneba

Role Description

As a member of the newly formed team within Payment Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end visibility into the payment funnel that supports our 20m+ active users across 17+ payment service providers. Your role will involve:

• Taking diagnostic ownership of checkout funnel health — surfacing alerts, insights, and defects before they become business-critical.
• Leading root-cause investigations that distinguish engineering defects from user-behavior patterns, and communicating findings clearly to relevant stakeholders.
• Supporting the funnel's reporting cadence to cross-functional teams, translating data into insights that drive measurable improvements in authorization rate and conversion.
• Analyzing authorization-rate, decline-code, and multi-PSP performance to identify the highest-impact bottlenecks in the funnel.
• Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Fraud on the diagnostic work behind funnel issues and processor outages.
• Developing into a trusted point of contact for payment funnel health within the team.

Qualifications

• Payments funnel literacy: interchange, decline codes, FX, tokenization, 3DS, fraud fundamentals.
• Demonstrated root-cause analysis on funnel drop-off or decline patterns — technical vs. behavioral.
• Able to translate complex data and customer-behavior insights for audiences without deep technical or domain context.

Requirements

• Self-serve BI/dashboard tool familiarity for personal investigation speed.
• SQL fluency for independent investigation.
• Experience navigating ambiguity in a fast-changing or high-growth environment.
• Multi-PSP comparative analysis experience.
