Role Description

The Manager of Patient Financial Services is responsible for daily operations of an assigned segment of the department to ensure accurate, timely and compliant billing, follow-up, denial management, and collections or account resolution, always focusing on the patient’s experience. This position requires intense coordination with facilities or clinic sites and supporting vendors.

• Management and supervision of billing, collection, accounts receivable, and/or other staff
• Knowledge of accounting and reporting practices
• Development of policies and procedures related to the billing and collection process
• Establishing and maintaining client linkages and service parameters
• Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure

Qualifications

• BA or BS required; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered
• Preferred area of focus: Business, Finance, or Accounting
• Minimum five (5) years Accounts Receivable/Patient Billing/Cash Management experience required
• Minimum two (2) years of accounting or finance experience
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity required
• Healthcare Experience required

The pay scale is $101,545.60 - $146,140.80 USD, influenced by factors specific to applicants, including skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
