Role Description
The Manager, Finance will oversee the development, growth, and day-to-day responsibilities of the Financial Analyst. Key responsibilities include:

Organizing and compiling data to create presentations detailing the company’s operating performance for senior and Board-level executives.

Data compilation for strategic analysis to predict the opportunity cost of capital expenditures, resource distribution in markets where economies of scale are feasible, and other ad hoc requests from senior executives and Board members.

Assisting in driving financial planning and analytics functions related to operating metrics and other dynamic analyses required for business management.

Providing financial analysis as needed for operational and strategic requirements.

Undertaking special projects and assisting in researching technical accounting issues that may arise.

Participating in root cause analysis to recommend process enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity for both the Operational Departments and the Finance Department.

Coordinating department special projects to ensure quality and meet timetables.

Evaluating department processes and recommending needed changes based on process analysis.

Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
-
Minimum 5 years of related experience in Healthcare Finance.

Advanced understanding in mathematics and strong analytical ability.

Intermediate to advanced Excel spreadsheet skills; experience with graphical spreadsheets a plus.

Ability to work under strict timelines to meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.

Ability to produce and explain financial & accounting reports.

Understanding of basic financial and accounting concepts.
-
Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Finance/Accounting.
Requirements

Strong communication skills both written and verbal to work with multiple internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

Ability to create and maintain documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversees any assigned staff, including responsibilities such as recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Assigns workload, plans, monitors, and appraises job results.

Coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees.
