Role Description
The Actuarial Analytics & Insights, S&R team forms part of the Corporate Actuarial (CA) function within Divisional Business Services (DBS) and is responsible for the Savings and Retirement (S&R) business. The S&R Line of Business delivers funded and non-funded reinsurance solutions to global insurance clients, catering for the increasing demand from clients in various jurisdictions for innovative reinsurance support that can transfer both longevity and asset risk.
The team is responsible for performing analysis and communicating insights in relation to both the in-force book and new business. This includes working across:
The teamβs focus is on developing a deep understanding of both the asset and liability side of the balance sheets, delivering value-add outcomes that support S&R and wider PL Reβs strategic priorities.

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong actuarial background and relevant experience to join the Corporate Actuarial function as a Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract, focusing on process improvements for the S&R Actuarial Analytics & Insights (AA&I) team.
Reporting to the AVP, Actuarial Analytics & Insights, S&R, this role offers a challenging variety of work and excellent opportunities to make positive contributions to S&R and CA. The role requires experience reporting work with a proven track record of process improvement, as the successful individual will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency, scalability, and robustness of our processes.

Working closely with actuarial, finance, operations, technology, and business stakeholders, the successful candidate will drive tangible improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and user experience.
There will be additional opportunities to support the team's future readiness agenda by helping design and implement new processes and operating models to support novel and increasingly complex S&R transactions across multiple jurisdictions. This includes ensuring processes are scalable, fit-for-purpose, and capable of supporting future business growth, regulatory requirements, and strategic objectives.
