Role Description

We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced investment banking and finance professionals with strong expertise in financial modelling, equity research, transaction analysis, valuation, and AI-enabled financial workflows to contribute to advanced AI training and evaluation initiatives.

Selected professionals will demonstrate how modern AI tools are incorporated into research, modelling, valuation, and deal processes; develop realistic finance workflows and analyses; evaluate AI-generated outputs; and provide practical insight into where AI improves or falls short of traditional investment-banking methods. Prior AI research experience is not required, but hands-on use of AI tools in professional finance workflows is important.

  • Apply investment-banking expertise to realistic financial analysis workflows
  • Demonstrate approaches to financial modelling and valuation
  • Analyse transaction-related information and deal scenarios
  • Explain modelling assumptions and analytical decision-making
  • Apply professional judgement to complex finance tasks
• AI-Enabled Finance Workflows
  • Demonstrate how AI tools integrate into day-to-day finance workflows
  • Develop example workflows using AI-powered financial platforms
  • Apply AI tools to research, data collection, modelling, and valuation
  • Explain where AI can streamline traditional analytical processes
  • Identify practical limitations of AI-assisted financial work
• Research & Analytical Evaluation
  • Evaluate AI-generated financial research and modelling outputs
  • Assess analytical accuracy, relevance, and completeness
  • Identify errors, unsupported assumptions, or weak conclusions
  • Compare generated work against professional finance standards
  • Provide detailed feedback to improve output quality
• Traditional vs AI-Assisted Methods
  • Compare conventional finance workflows with AI-enhanced approaches
  • Identify efficiencies created by automation and AI tooling
  • Analyse areas where professional judgement remains essential
  • Evaluate trade-offs between speed, accuracy, and analytical depth
  • Document lessons from AI adoption across financial workflows
• Reporting & Collaborative Feedback
  • Produce clear financial analyses, example reports, and workflow documentation
  • Communicate technical and analytical concepts to varied audiences
  • Provide actionable feedback on tools, processes, and outputs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on evaluation assignments
  • Contribute insight into evolving financial technology practices

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, asset management, or a closely related field
• Hands-on experience as an Associate, VP, Analyst, or comparable finance professional
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities
• Experience supporting transaction processes or deal-oriented analysis
• Strong understanding of equity research and company analysis
• Experience analysing financial statements and complex datasets
• Direct professional use of AI-powered financial tools
• Familiarity with platforms such as Rogo, Hebbia, Model ML, Claude for Financial Services, or comparable tools
• Ability to explain how AI is integrated into research, modelling, and transaction workflows
• Strong analytical judgement when evaluating AI-generated finance outputs
• Experience identifying process inefficiencies and workflow optimisation opportunities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear explanations
• Experience providing actionable feedback on financial tools or analytical processes
• Strong interest in financial technology and emerging industry practices

Engagement Details

• Independent contractor engagement
• Fully remote
• Compensation: $150–$220/hour
• Work will involve financial modelling, investment research, deal analysis, AI-assisted workflow development, and output evaluation
• Hands-on professional experience with AI-enabled finance tools is particularly relevant to this engagement
• Assignments may involve example analyses, reports, valuation workflows, research processes, and transaction-related scenarios
• Contributors may compare traditional finance methods with AI-assisted approaches
• Strong written communication and ability to explain analytical reasoning are central to the work
• Project scope, workflows, and financial use cases may evolve depending on research requirements
• Work must be completed without using confidential, proprietary, client-specific, transaction-sensitive, material non-public, or otherwise restricted information belonging to any employer, client, financial institution, investment firm, issuer, or other third party
