[Hiring] Financial Education Coordinator @Aon

Role Description

The Financial Education Coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery and coordination of retirement plan education programs for plan participants. This role partners closely with advisors, internal teams, and plan sponsors to coordinate educational meetings, prepare participant materials, and ensure clear, accurate communication of plan benefits and retirement concepts. The coordinator plays a key role in promoting participant engagement, improving understanding of 401(k) plans, and supporting overall financial wellness initiatives through effective education and operational support.

• Handles all support functions for the client’s financial well-being initiative, including:
  • Ordering employee incentive items as needed
  • Accurately recording costs
  • Supervising information
  • Servicing general email and voicemail boxes
  • Completing all tasks related to incoming calls and emails
• Manages meeting input and availability in the RPAG system
• Schedules ad hoc meetings for employees with their assigned Financial Professional as needed, including:
  • Supervising receipt of meeting summaries
  • Accurately inputting data into client records
• Supports the team of Financial Professionals to provide an ongoing calendar of events and all vital information for scheduled appointments
• Produces promotional materials for scheduled events, including:
  • Email campaigns
  • Flyers
  • Other materials as needed by clients
• Handles relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients, including:
  • Coordinating and conducting implementation calls
  • Bi-weekly status calls
  • Ongoing oversight of each client’s financial wellness program

Qualifications

• Business Sense - Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business ideas, tools, and processes needed to make sound decisions for the company.
• Client Relationship Management - Knowledge and ability to determine and satisfy client needs and maintain a partnering relationship during engagements.
• Customer Experience Management - Implements strategies and techniques to ensure that customers have a positive experience with the organization and its products and services at every touch point.
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking - Ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions.
• Effective Communications - Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs.
• Bilingual - Spanish is a big plus.
• Financial background preferred.
