Role Description

The Professional Learning and Events Coordinator supports the administration of AAMFT’s professional learning and continuing education initiatives, including the AAMFT Continuing Education Provider Approval Program and AAMFT’s in-house continuing education activities. This role coordinates CE provider applications and approvals, reviews programs for alignment with AAMFT standards and applicable state regulatory requirements, and maintains the documentation and records necessary to support compliance. The Coordinator also assists with the administration of AAMFT-sponsored continuing education offerings and works with internal staff and external providers to ensure CE requirements and processes are followed consistently. This is a fully remote position.

Candidates must reside in DC, MD, VA, DE, NC, SC, IL only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in a similar role is desired.
• Strong knowledge of state regulations regarding continuing education.
• Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze/interpret complex regulations/data.
• Experience with budget management and financial reporting.

Requirements

• Review state regulations yearly to ensure AAMFT maintains its status as a CE provider.
• Develop and maintain a centralized CE compliance resource.
• Collaborate with state boards for accurate interpretations and responses.
• Provide consultation on CE applications submitted by AAMFT networks and geographic areas.
• Review and approve external CE Provider Approval Program applications.
• Support the review and quality control of AAMFT event and continuing education systems.
• Verify participant attendance for AAMFT webinars and other continuing education activities.
• Gather, prepare, and distribute post-event surveys and summary evaluations.
• Summarize speaker feedback from event evaluation data.
• Maintain cohesive communication with central membership regarding CE offerings.
• Collect and report metric updates for CE Approval Program.
• Prepare monthly CE Provider Approval Program reports.
