Role Description
BlueSprig is hiring a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The Financial Analyst collects and translates data into actionable analysis for the Finance department. The analyst will be responsible for importing, transforming, validating and modeling data with the purpose of understanding or drawing conclusions from the data in order to drive clinical and operational decision-making.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Work Location: Remote (Preference for candidates who reside within the Philadelphia to New York City corridor)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Advanced knowledge of Excel and Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint

Power BI (preferred), but not required

Lookup functions

Strong analytic skills

Experience working with and analyzing financial statements

Balance Sheet

Forecasting & Budgeting experience

13 Wk cashflow forecasting (preferred)

Experience in Healthcare (preferred)

3 years minimum of related experience
Requirements

Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to build and assess data, maintaining vigilance in analysis to ensure the insights and conclusions obtained are correct

Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance

Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts

Provide intensive research, data mining and data mapping

Present findings clearly and accessibly in the form of reports and spoken communications with various audiences

Trouble-shoot and correct data load exceptions or inaccuracies
-
Provide financial analysis as needed to various business stakeholders

Produce accurate and timely reports

Contribute to process improvement efforts

Generate reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts

Integrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements

Program and maintain report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources

May create specifications for reports based on business requests
