[Hiring] Finance Director @Democratic Association of Secretaries of State

Role Description

The Finance Director will be tasked with overseeing every aspect of the race for Secretary of State on the ground through 2026. The Finance Director, in partnership with relevant consultants, advisors, and team members, will develop, implement, and manage the finance plan.

• Staff hiring and management for finance department
• Handling of consultant communication and deliverables
• Drafting and execution of the finance plan
• Work with campaign manager to accurately project goals to inform their budgeting plans
• Manage a team that will include finance assistant, call time manager, etc.
• Other tasks as necessary

Qualifications

• At least one cycle of finance experience
• Proficiency in call time management, planning and executing fundraising events, candidate staffing, and organization
• Significant experience managing staff or principles is strongly encouraged

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, NGPVAN, Numero, or other similar donor database experience
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and ask questions
