Role Description

We are looking for a Specialist, Finance who is energetic and experienced with Cash Applications and Aging to join our finance team. We process high volumes of transactions and remittances to optimize cash flow through timely and accurate cash applications. As part of our team, you will:

• Reconcile cash application daily
• Perform collection processes
• Post payments
• Create weekly and monthly reports for relevant stakeholders and management

Our ideal candidate is a motivated problem-solver who can collaborate effectively on larger teams and possess accurate data entry skills and an eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of Cash Applications and/or Aging analysis
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience

Requirements

• Optimize cash flow through timely and accurate cash application of customer payments
• Ensure payment application accuracy by identifying and resolving discrepancies at the time of payment posting
• Post and apply payments from various sources including ACH, EFT, and Wire receipts
• Create regular reports to accurately track financial information
• Assist with periodic audits requests from internal and external teams
• Manage and review the AR Aging and assist with the collection process
• Address payment issues such as over and under payments and other discrepancies
• Provide comments and achievable collection dates on the internal aging report
• Engage in collection management with external and internal customers

Benefits

• In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $76,500-$141,500
• The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $67,000 - $124,000
• This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location
