Role Description

We are looking for Experienced Audit Professionals with demonstrated experience in US Government and Compliance audits, including Single Audits and Yellow Book (GAGAS), to support a US client engagement.

Contract details:

• Contract type: Independent Contractor Agreement
• Contract Duration: 6 to 12 months
• Industry and sector: General & Commercial and Construction

Additional experience:

• Single Audit and US government audits

Technical knowledge:

• US GAAP
• Software: CCH essential

Qualifications

• ITC/Board 1 Pass - Non-negotiable
• Fully Qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA
• 4+ years of Public Accounting audit experience (Senior)
• 5+ years of Public Accounting audit experience (SIC)
• 6+ years of Public Accounting audit experience (Manager)
• 2+ years of experience leading teams and managing audits (SIC & Manager)

Requirements

• Review and coaching of junior team members (Senior)
• Audit and documentation of basic and complex audit sections (Senior)
• Planning the budget and resources for audits (SIC)
• Proven track record in reviewing and signing off on work papers (SIC)
• Supervision of the engagement team, tasks and budget (Manager)
• Project management of audits from planning to completion (Manager)

Key Responsibilities

• Senior: Provides timely, high-quality deliverables covering complex sections, with a reasonable number of workpaper comments.
• Senior: May facilitate fieldwork, coordinate deliverables from multiple team members.
• Senior: Demonstrates depth of knowledge of methodology, relevant standards, and systems.
• Senior: Proactively addresses client concerns and escalates issues as they arise.
• SIC: Provides timely, high-quality deliverables covering complex sections while overseeing fieldwork.
• SIC: Leads the team through the engagement and prepares financial statements, related disclosures, and reportable conditions letters.
• Manager: Provides timely, high-quality client service, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating all client deliverables.
• Manager: Monitors and reviews work produced to ensure quality and skill development.
• Manager: Proactively and confidently communicates with all levels at the Firm and client.

Note: Audit experience and alignment to a specific level within SAPRO shall be determined based on your individual audit exposure, technical interview, and evaluation.
