Role Description

The Annuities Actuarial Financial Reporting team is seeking a dynamic and results-driven actuarial professional to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that may evolve from period to period.

• Set STAT and GAAP reserves in accordance with latest regulation requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and enhance deferred annuities financial reporting models, including:
  • Maintaining and improving the month-end pipeline: data generation, modeling, review, and journal entries.
• Collaborate with experience study team in developing and implementing actuarial assumptions.
• Support other ad-hoc projects including but not limited to:
  • Building and improving actuarial analysis reports.
  • Leading actuarial data modernization projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent with strong quantitative background including college level mathematics.
• 6-9 years of annuity related actuarial experience. Principles Based Reserving and FAS133 experience preferred.
• ASA designation required.
• Experience with Python, SQL/Snowflake database skill preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in uncertain or evolving situations.

• Salary Range: $117,000 – $150,000 plus eligibility for annual bonus programs.
