[Hiring] Accounting Specialist @Lean Solutions Group

Role Description

Currently, we are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper / Accounting Associate to join our team. You will own the books end-to-end, from daily transaction entry through month-end close, and be the person leadership relies on for an accurate, up-to-date financial picture. This is a hands-on role:

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Record and maintain daily financial transactions and journal entries
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial data in QuickBooks Online
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues
• Process or support payroll and payroll reconciliation
• Assist with sales tax filings and compliance requirements
• Maintain organized financial documentation for CPA reviews and audits
• Identify inefficiencies and improve financial workflows
• Help implement better reporting, tracking, and controls
• Support budgeting and expense tracking

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• 2+ years of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience
• 2+ years of accounts receivable experience
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience
• Strong track record with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable learning new software and adapting to new tools

Requirements

• Experience owning or supporting month-end close
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, reporting)
• Experience in MSP, IT services, or professional services industries
• Exposure to multi-entity accounting
