At C Teleport, we are revolutionizing corporate travel by combining automation, machine learning, and smart decision-making. As our Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our financial health and enabling scalable growth. You will join a highly collaborative team that values ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Our finance team consists of four dedicated professionals, led by our VP Finance. Two of our team members (accountants) work remotely, reflecting our strong culture of flexibility and cross-border collaboration. In this role, the Accounting Manager will directly supervise these remote team members and should be comfortable with occasional business travel when needed.

This is a remote role, initially offered under a contractor agreement. To support effective collaboration and communication within the team, we prefer candidates located within approximately ±4 hours of the Rotterdam time zone. You should feel comfortable working in a multicultural, English-speaking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and all relevant regulatory requirements.

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and management reports for internal leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders.

• Support the VP Finance on statutory filings and maintain strong communication with regulatory authorities and external auditors.

Financial Operations & Planning

• Manage end-to-end financial operations, including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.

• Implement, maintain, and enhance internal financial controls and procedures.

• Be responsible for preparations for annual audits

Taxation

• Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with Dutch tax laws.

• Partner with tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and minimize liabilities.

Systems, Data & Process Optimization

• Serve as the functional lead for our migration from Exact Online to a new, scalable ERP system.

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across multiple systems and platforms.

• Partner with our IT team to implement "Automation First" workflows, reducing manual entry through API integrations for bank feeds, expenses, and AP/AR.

Business Partnering

• Provide financial insights, scenario analyses, and data-driven recommendations to VPs and managers.

• Act as a trusted advisor during our scale-up phase, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification strongly preferred.

• +3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role; experience in scale-ups, SaaS, or high-growth tech environments is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of Dutch accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance. Ability to learn

• Excellent command of English (our main working language).

• High proficiency with financial systems and ERP software (Exact experience preferred).

• Strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and exceptional attention to detail.

• Hands-on mindset and eagerness to continuously learn and adapt.
