[Hiring] Accountant II @RAYUS Radiology

Role Description

RAYUS Radiology is looking for an Accountant II to join our team. As an Accountant II, you will be responsible for performing accounting-related activities as assigned, with minimal coaching as well as perform month-end close duties, prepare and reconcile financial statements, prepare audit and budget schedules, and support management decisions through financial analysis. This is a Full-Time, 100% remote position working weekday business hours on Eastern Standard Time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• (95%) Accounting Functions
  • Compile and analyze information to prepare journal entries to general ledger accounts
  • Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Ensure accounting activity for assigned area(s) is recorded accurately and timely
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements
  • Present monthly financial statements to operations leaders
  • Answer questions from operations leaders
  • Actively participate in the annual budget process
  • Research standard accounting transactions (invoice retrieval, inquiry of operations team)
  • Monitor progress on capital projects and spend
  • Complete basic financial modeling
  • Assist in the year-end audit
• (5%) Other Duties/Projects Assigned

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or closely related and applicable field
  • Two (2) years accounting experience
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Excel
• Preferred:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software
