Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Australian Tax Accountant to work dayshifts. Work from home or office based—you choose!
- Preparation of complex financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, SMEs and large multinational groups.
- Assist in providing advice to clients on optimal business structures, asset protection and estate planning strategies.
- Work on advisory projects in the areas of budgets and cashflows, KPI dashboards and management reporting.
- Assist in delivering cutting-edge solutions with our V-CFO offering, developing business and succession plans, financial models, benchmarking, and pricing analyses.
- Utilize your strong Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products (e.g., XERO, QBO and MYOB).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 2-4 years of experience in a public practice or business environment, with 1-2 years of specific experience working with Australian tax laws, financial reporting, and business practices
- CPA (Philippines) or working towards CA or CPA Australia
- Experience in cloud accounting products (XERO, QBO, MYOB) and possess advanced Excel skills
- Confidence, passion, and innovative thinking
- In-depth analytical skills.
