Role Description

This role involves financial management with a focus on Marketing, Sales, and Data Management.

Participate in the annual budgeting process and forecasting for OPEX and CAPEX spend.
Lead monthly financial reviews with cost center leaders and project teams.
Forecast Marketing and Sales expenses using updated projections for Originations and Revenues.
Partner with various functions to ensure alignment of financial data and forecasts.
Gather monthly labor allocation across strategic projects and ensure routing to respective capital projects.
Build partnerships with key stakeholders to provide financial analysis and support for business decisions.
Work with project teams to build comprehensive technology project estimates.
Streamline financial processes to enhance decision-making through analysis of results and trends.
Document and maintain financial-related Standard Operating Procedures.
Collaborate with departments to understand priorities for accurate expense forecasts.
Analyze complex financial information and provide recommendations for decision-making.
Mentor other Expense Analysts.
Handle ad hoc projects as requested.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field is required.
Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is beneficial.
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, etc.).
Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and SharePoint.
Experience with ERP Financial Systems, especially Workday Adaptive Planning, is a plus.
Familiarity with Power BI or other data analytics software is helpful but not required.
Willing and able to travel up to 25%.

Requirements

7+ years of accounting or financial experience, particularly in technology project-based financials.
Proficient in active listening and articulating ideas clearly to build stakeholder relationships.
Experience partnering with senior leadership to develop operational expense strategies.
Ability to provide data-driven insights and recommendations on OpEx management.
Collaborate with senior leaders to forecast and monitor OpEx trends.
Advise on cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, able to work independently on multiple projects.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
A mature thinker with strong communication and presentation skills.
Able to maintain organized systems and processes for efficiency.
Innovative thinker focused on continuous process improvement.
