Role Description
This role involves managing and overseeing all aspects of mergers and acquisitions within the company. You will help deliver better care for billions of people around the world.
- Evaluate potential business opportunities
- Conduct financial analysis
- Coordinate due diligence
- Ensure all legal and financial aspects of transactions are handled properly
- Drive the creation of Mergers & Acquisitions deal structures playbook
- Provide strategic direction and leadership throughout the Mergers & Acquisitions process
- Lead due diligence on aligning the strategy to help shape business rationale into Mergers & Acquisitions deals
- Develop comprehensive financial models, projections, and valuations for potential acquisitions
- Coordinate with internal teams (legal, finance, accounting) ensuring all aspects of a transaction are properly managed
- Manage relationships with external advisors including investment banks, consultants, legal counsel during Mergers & Acquisitions processes
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on progress of ongoing transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or a related field
- 10+ years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions including project management skills
- Proven track record in leading large-scale projects involving cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
- Ability to work under pressure & meet tight deadlines
