Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Attorney with a passion for litigation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in personal injury litigation, be licensed to practice in Texas and possess exceptional legal acumen.
As a litigation attorney, you will manage a variety of personal injury cases, including car accidents, trucking accidents, and slip and fall incidents. Your duties will include:
- Filing lawsuits
- Drafting and responding to written discovery
- Taking depositions
- Participating in mediation
- Handling all aspects of the litigation process
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in discovery, depositions, mediation, and trials
- 1st chair trial experience is mandatory (No less than 7 trials to verdict will be considered)
- MUST BE LICENSED TO PRACTICE IN TEXAS
- Expertise in all phases of personal injury cases, from inception through litigation to trial or settlement
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience interacting directly with clients, evaluating cases, and counseling clients on legal matters professionally
- Comfortable working with other attorneys and litigation team members, while managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
Requirements
- Bilingual skills are not required but are a plus
- Proficiency in drafting motions and memoranda
- Personal injury experience is required
