Role Description
This role involves providing legal support in estate planning and document preparation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on case progress and answering inquiries.
- Prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with attorneys to assess clients' estate planning needs and provide recommendations.
- Conduct research on relevant legal issues, statutes, and regulations to support attorneys in case preparation.
- Maintain organized and accurate client records, ensuring all documents and communication are properly documented.
- Manage attorney schedules, including court dates, client meetings, and deadlines.
- Act as a notary public to notarize legal documents as required.
Qualifications
- Experienced in drafting Estate Planning Documents
- Experienced in preparations of Wills and Trust
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- JD is highly preferred
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in Legal Software tools such as Clio is a plus
