Role Description
The DCX Client Services - Home-Based Controller will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. This person will train and oversee the client's accounting team in conjunction with the policies and procedures set by our Chief Accounting Officer.
- Manage/review all accounting functions for the Delegate team including month/quarter/year-end statements
- Bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Preparation of financial statements (modified cash basis, accrual and GAAP)
- Trial balance, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Partner distributions and purchase and sale transaction accounting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Solid Finance Controller experience with multi-entity experience
- Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Word and Outlook
- Experience with Yardi, and/or Onesite/RealPage online system is desired
- Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.
- Understanding of economic principles, financial markets, and banking
- Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting
- Preferably a CPA
- Ability to develop good relationships with individuals and entities
- Must be a strategic thinker and a problem solver
- Must be a self-starter who takes initiative
Requirements
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Effective communication skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
Benefits
- Salary Range: 145,000 - 150,000
- Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA)
- Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
- Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient
