Role Description
As the FP&A Manager, you will create, update, and maintain financial models and detailed forecasts of ChowNow’s future operations. You will assess and track ChowNow’s overall financial health, primarily by using key financial ratios common to SaaS companies and marketplaces.
- Partner with individual departments to prepare budgets.
- Implement, own, maintain and run an FP&A planning tool.
- Examine and evaluate the cost-efficiency of each department.
- Compare historical operating results against budgets and forecasts to explain differences in performance.
- Consider opportunities for ChowNow to expand or grow; map out growth plans, including capital expenditures and investments.
- Evaluate new investments or products by investigating return on investment.
- Build monthly and quarterly reporting packages for the senior management team and the Board of Directors.
- Assist Investor Relations with quarterly earnings and other external communications.
This position reports to the Senior Director of FP&A and does not have any direct reports. This is a remote role based in the United States.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a FP&A role.
- Strong background in B2B SaaS and a deep understanding of SaaS metrics.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with financial modelling.
- Experience managing and operating an FP&A planning software for SMBs; familiarity with Cube is a plus.
- High attention to detail as deliverables will often be presented to senior management.
- Strong presentation skills to communicate complex information in a simplified manner.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with employees of all levels.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, scrappy work environment.
- Proven ability to make data-informed decisions and thrive in a dynamic environment under short timelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive solutions proactively.
