Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our finance team. In this role, you will assist with processing internal procurement transactions, managing vendor and employee payments, and coordinating the oversight of fixed assets and inventory.
- Internal Related-Party Transactions Management: Conduct intercompany reconciliations with relevant vendors and collaborate with HQ product development to resolve outstanding issues, ensuring timely payment of invoices by the 20th of each month.
- Oversight of External Suppliers and Related Expenses: Process weekly vendor and employee payments, reviewing expense reports to identify opportunities for improved expense management.
- Fixed Assets and Inventory management: Coordinate annual fixed asset and inventory counts in June and December, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications
- Accounting Expertise: A solid background in accounting, with a comprehensive understanding of financial processes, reconciliations, and reporting practices.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate efficiently across teams and engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Team-Oriented: Proven ability to function as a valuable team member, contributing to cross-functional collaboration and promoting a positive and productive work atmosphere.
- Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy in all tasks.
- Mandarin Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin is considered a valuable asset.
