Role Description
The Finance Analyst serves as the primary point of support for the financial operations and compliance needs of the Company. The Finance Analyst is responsible for ensuring seamless financial processes and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing day-to-day financial tasks, including:
- Accounting
- Preparation of financial statements and analysis
- Preparing and overseeing purchase orders (POs), sales orders (SOs), payment follow-ups, and compliance documentation
The Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting:
- Financial reporting
- Tax compliance
- ERP (preferably Zoho) management
Additionally, the Finance Analyst will contribute to strategic financial initiatives as required by the company. This position reports to the Financial Controller and works closely with other internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles
- Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, regulatory compliance, and ERP systems (preferably Zoho)
- Experience working in roles involving coordination with multiple stakeholders, such as suppliers, customers, or internal teams
- Prior experience in implementing financial processes or working in fast-paced organizations
Requirements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple financial processes and timelines
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting, and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with managing financial operations in emerging markets or exposure to infrastructure or renewable energy sectors is a plus
